ADJUSTING • Loosen or tighten both chain adjusters 2 until the chain has 1 5 — 25 mm (0.6— 1.0 in) of slack in the middle between engine and rear sprockets. The marks 3 on both chain adjusters must be at the same position on the scale to ensure that the front and rear wheels are correctly aligned.
• Place the motorcycle on its side-stand for accurate adjustment. • After adjusting the drive chain, tighten the axle nut securely. • Tighten both chain adjuster lock nuts 4 securely.
